Open Telecom Ltd. is newest entrant into the International Telephony market place, as a Long Distance Service Provider. As such will be the only BroadBand Telephone company operating in Trinidad and Tobago.

The Information and Communications Industry the world over is extending their product service portfolios to provide for the converged voice, video and data transfers over the Internet and Wide and Local Area Networks. To facilitate these changing technologies the Government of Trinidad and Tobago has liberalized this segment of the Telecommunications Sector and  has awarded a license concession to Open Telecom Ltd as a wireless telecommunications provider to deliver International Public Long Distance Telephone services to the Trinidad and Tobago market place.

Open Telecom has now launched its Long Distance Telephone Services under the brand name Worldtalk and will be launching an Internet Telephone Service In July of this year.
